Woodlands is an old chalk pit of 5 acres in size with an average depth of 18 feet. The dominant species are carp as there is an estimated 500+ fish with an average weight of between 8-12lb with fish up to 26lb. Also present are a few roach, perch, bream, tench and pike.
There are 20 swims on this lake and at any one time the maximum amount of anglers allowed to fish is limited to 15. The maximum amount of rods on this complex is 2 from 1st May to 30th September and 3 from 1st October to 31st March. There is a secure, locked car park at this lake for which all members are given a key, as well as toilet facilities.
